The Merchant of Venice

June and July will see Peter re-joining 'Dean Taylor Productions' for their Outdoor Shakespeare Tour of Lancashire and Cheshire, for a 5th year. This year he will play 'Antonio' in 'The Merchant of Venice', a stark contrast to the 'Commedia' inspired Hortensio of last year's tour. Reserection

After 2 years of planning Dean Taylor's new black comedy 'Reserection' takes to the stage at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Peter will play 'Roger Round' who seeks treatment for an embarassing condition and ends up facing more demons than he could have imagined.

Reserection will be performed at 'The Greenside Theatre' from Aug 17th-22nd.

Hope Gap

From May 2nd to 10th Peter played the lead role in an exciting new play at Brighton's 'Fringe Festival' rfor Scorch. 'Hope Gap' is a gritty stylised play telling the story of an ex-Brit Pop Frontman battling with addiction and the Government. Written and directed by Nick Warnford of 'Scorch Theatre'.

Eurostar Campaign

Peter has just finished filming in London for a new advertising campaign for 'Eurostar'. To be shown on the Belgian website, Peter will be seen selling various well known London landmarks to perspective travellers. It was a fun shoot, playing a larger than life character with an even larger moustache! Photos to follow...

 

 

Commedia Dell'Arte Workshop

In September 2008 Peter was priveleged to work with award winning director Malachi Bogdanov taking part in his 'Commedia Dell'Arte' workshop in Sassari Sardinia. Much fun was had exploring the characters using masks by 'Stefano Perocco' (see gallery) and Peter hopes to work further with Malachi in the future. In the meantime Peter continues to develop his 'Commedia' skills.
